PRESIDENT=S OPENING REMARKS - None
TREASURER=S REPORT
Bob Schreier distributed a Financial Report, and indicated that the Club is in sound financial condition.
VICE-PRESIDENT=S REPORT
Kevin announced that we will be participating in the Nanuet 100th anniversary celebration on Sunday, June 1. We will need tables and chairs. We will be doing flight demos with electrics and a static display. It is very important for us to participate in this event. Members are invited to bring family members. There will be a preliminary field meeting at the site on Tuesday, May 20 at 1:00 pm.
FLIGHT LEADER REPORT
Jim stated that there will be hot dogs on Wednesday evenings at the Clarkstown field
SAFETY OFFICER=S REPORT
Bob Greenberg reminded the membership of the following safety issues:
1. Pilots must stand behind the stations.
2. There should be a maximum of four aircraft in the air at one time.
3. Nobody should be flying aircraft directly over the flight line.
4. Nobody should be flying over the heli area
5. All pilots must observe and fly the established pattern.
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER REPORT
Joe lets thankless club members know that he is pulling back on the website - no more 'Name that Aircraft', no more 'Rockland History' (maybe), but complaints about getting rid of the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip spur him to continue it.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Membership - Adam Stamatis joined as a new member.
RFI Committee - None
Good and Welfare - None
Field maintenance - Dick thanked all who participated in the field maintenance. Next we will need to paint. Ralph re-graded the parking lot. There is a drainage issue at the tractor storage shed.
Public Relations - None

OLD BUSINESS B none.
NEW BUSINESS:
Bruce Leach announced that we have acquired a new flying site at the Haverstraw landfill, across from the Marina. He asked that we make a showing there and the town will be holding some events for the residents.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Joe Campagna asked what should be done with the pile of earth that remains at the field.
The next business meeting will be on June 10, 2008.
A Motion was made at 9:00 pm to adjourn, it was seconded, all agreed.
